ENLISTMENT EQUIREMENTS

Aged 16 or Over
We require all of our members to be aged 16 or over, this is to ensure that we maintain a level of maturity within our community. This requirement is strictly enforced, unless you already know someone in the community who can vouch for your maturity.

Speak & Understand English
All of our members need to be able to effectively communicate in English. Whilst we do accept people from all walks of life and from countries all over the world, we all speak English when in game or working together.

Have a working Microphone
Communication is one of the most important principals of Military Simulation in Arma 3. To do this every member is required to have a working microphone.
WHO TO JOIN?
The 51st Infantry Brigade offer members the opportunity to join a number of different battalions who each have unique and individual styles of operating. Below you can find all currently active Battalions!

Unit Type: Light Mechanised Infantry unit.
Primary Operations: Mounted infantry operations.
Primary Vehicle: Foxhound Protected Patrol Vehicle.
Operating Style: A blend of traditional infantry and mechanised doctrine.

Unit Type: Cavalry
Primary Operations: Reconnaissance and Screening operations.
Primary Vehicle: Jackal and Coyote Wheeled Reconnaissance Vehicles
Operating Style: Operates in small teams, typically comprising 12 members. Employs a variety of powerful weapon systems to offset smaller team sizes.
FULL TIME OR RESERVE MEMBERSHIP?
The 51st Infantry Brigade offers two distinct types of membership for those interested in joining: Full Time Members and Reserve Members. Each type caters to different levels of commitment and flexibility, ensuring that members can participate in a way that best suits their availability and interests.

Permanent Assignment: Full Time Members are permanently assigned to a Battalion, such as SCOTS DG or 3 SCOTS.
Attendance Expectations: A minimum of 50% attendance is required for all events.
Role Selection: Members have the privilege of choosing their role within the unit, subject to availability.
Training Requirements: Completion of Phase 1 Alpha and Bravo trainings is mandatory for joining as a Full Time Member.

Flexible Engagement: Reserve Members join the "Brigade Reserves", offering flexibility in participation.
Role Allocation: They are allocated roles based on the needs of the mission on any given night.
Minimum Participation: Attendance of at least one Saturday mission per month is required.
Training Requirements: Reserve Members only need to complete Phase 1 Alpha training to join the unit.
